Hi all,
Besides working, I've also started teaching english lately. I'm hoping to
do it twice a week. It's not really a job and I don't get paid. I help her
with english and she helps me with japanese. We usually meet up at one of
the train stations and from there take another train to her office. Her
office is about half an hour from here, and after lessons, I make my own way
home.
I'm enjoying the lessons. We get along well. The first time, I brought
some candy, and she got bokunhabanero, so while our brains were busy
digesting our stomachs were similarly employed. Since then, it's become a
tradition. I'd bring some kind of snacks and she does the same and there
are always different snacks. At the moment, I'm working on improving her
pronunciation and she's contributing to my vocabulary. I've invited her
over next week for a movie and probably a meal. She lives not far from
where I am. I think we are going to be great friends.
Hahahah, sounds fun. Can I learn Japanese from you? O yes, I want the snacks and candies!!!
